Artists Take Centre Stage at AGM

Thank you to everyone who attended "Revue". This new format for our Annual General Meeting was a fabulous night to celebrate. We looked back at a great year of growth with the CAO and its members. We now look forward to an exciting year with a new Board, new members and new opportunities.

With over 90 in attendance the CAO Board, staff and members enjoyed a wonderful evening of music, dance, poetry and song. While the main purpose of the event was to celebrate the arts, members commented on the efficiency of the business portion of the evening.

Three new Board Directors were elected. Welcome to Alain Boisvert, B.J. Tycoles, and Peter Veall and to all the returning Directors. New initiatives announced by our Awards Chair, Nichole McGill were the mid-career artists award and a new music recording award sponsored by Sound of One Hand. Details will be posted on our website by September.
