Corel Endowment for the Arts Awards
Congratulations to the recipients of the 2006 Corel Endowment for the Arts Awards! The Awards are presented on an annual basis to assist local artists with the development of innovative projects. This year's recipients were announced at the CAO Revue held on June 27, 2006 at the Arts Court Theatre.
- Chantal Gervais received support for research and the initial stages of the production of a series of photographs that will address the strength and fragility of the human body.
- The Harrismah Duo (guitarist Andrew Mah and cellist Joan Harrison) received support for a concert of Brazilian and Portuguese music to take place at the NAC 4th Stage.
- Andrew O'Malley received support for an interactive new media installation that will use light and custom-built electronic control circuitry.
